If you said TEA, then you’ve let the tale out of the teapot! It’s served as an invigorating hot and cold drink and for an abundance of medicinal purposes. It is also used in many rituals and celebrations, worldwide.
Tea Bar values tea as a mainstay of medicinal, social, cultural, educational, and spiritual essence of life and living. Our goal is to have people exploring the tastes of a variety of teas, recognize their medicinal and healing values and become acquainted with how tea is intricately woven into our societies through many rich traditions, rituals, and ceremonies.
We sell luxury, high standard tea for the health conscious, the discerning tea drinker, and tea newbie’s. Individuals who aspire to use tea to inspire their body, mind and soul are welcome to peruse our teas to find one that suits your needs and lifestyle.
ABOUT THE OWNERS
I grew up drinking herbal teas, taking remedies and cooking with herbs. It was and still is a way of life for me and my family. It’s my heritage and I shared it with thousands of people at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, the Annual Exhibition and in workshops. I feature in the video “Medicinal Uses of Plants” and in the book “Bermuda Connections”. Tea Bar is not just about selling tea, it’s about making tea a part of your lifestyle.
